Our COVID-19 Policy
at The Private Practice

During these unprecedented times, the team at The Private Practice offer our heartfelt thoughts and well wishes to all our clients. In line with government advice we are delighted to be re-opening our doors. Our priority is the safety of our clients and staff, as well as our duty to the wider community. So, we will be implementing a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of, as detailed below.

Booking Appointments

1. We kindly ask that all bookings and enquiries be made via telephone, email, website or any of our social media platforms. We will not be allowing walk in enquiries until further notice.

2. If any of our staff members fall ill or develop COVID19 symptoms they will be asked to self-isolate immediately and therefore we may have to cancel your appointment at short notice if they become unavailable. An alternative booking will be offered at your convenience.

3. We have amended our booking terms and conditions so that you will not be charged should you be unable to attend due to illness. If you are unwell you must NOT attend your appointment.

Visiting the Clinic - What to Expect

1. BEFORE ATTENDING THE CLINIC:

a. Screening: You will be contacted before your appointment to screen for COVID19 symptoms. Only once you have confirmed you have been symptom free for a minimum of 14 days can your appointment go ahead

b. Travel: In line with current government recommendations if using public transport to travel to your appointment please abide by social distancing rules.

c. Please minimise jewellery to a single wedding band only.

d. Please minimise the number of personal items you bring with you to a single bag only (this is to minimise need for disinfection if contaminated).

2. ON ARRIVAL TO THE CLINIC:

a. Please attend as close to your appointment time as possible – this is to reduce the number of clients at the clinic at any one time. If you arrive early you may be asked to wait outside until your appointment time.

b. On arrival please ring the doorbell and only enter the property once instructed to.

c. Once inside the foyer please sanitize your hands and take a mask, if you do not have your own.

d. When instructed to do so you will be permitted into the waiting area where once again you will be asked to confirm that you are symptom-free and we will check through your online consent form.

e. If at any point staff feel you may be symptomatic or unwell your appointment may be abandoned. You should take government advice on what to do next if you have symptoms.

3. DURING YOUR TREATMENT:

a. You may wear facemasks and/or gloves to the clinic if you wish. However depending on the type of treatment facemasks may have to be removed.

b. Staff will wear appropriate PPE throughout the duration of your treatment

c. All staff have received appropriate training in hand washing and Infection Control procedures to ensure your treatment is as safe and comfortable as possible

d. Where appropriate we will use single use items, and appropriately disinfect all clinic areas before and after your treatment.

4. AFTER YOUR TREATMENT:

a. We ask that unless absolutely necessary all payments be contactless/card or made online

b. Aftercare documents will be made available via email to avoid touch contact with paper documents

c. While your treatment will be undertaken with due care and precision, we are not able to offer long consultations post-procedure in order to limit total time spent inside the clinic. These measures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continually be reviewing this guidance in line with the latest government and Public Health England advice and will update our procedures as necessary.

If you have any further questions about this guidance please contact us. We thank you for your understanding.
